NRH POETRY TRAIL
The NRH Poetry Trail, featuring the writing of North Richland Hills-area poets, is located along the Linda Spurlock Park central walking trail. The plaques are placed at regular intervals and feature poems celebrating the beauty of nature. Enjoy this beautiful one-minute film, created by NRH Citicable, which features Lana Aarnos Jackson, Lisa Martinez, Jessica Copeland Bell and Lori Newbold speaking about their writing and inspiration.
The four authors have deep connections to North Richland Hills and they have written works that are inspired by the NRH Parks and Trails that they utilize often for exercise and inspiration. In addition to the poetry, each plaque features a photo and short biography of the author. The NRH Poetry Trail is an Arts Initiative of the North Richland Hills Parks and Recreation Department and is intended to encourage and promote the art of prose, poetry and self-expression by talented NRH Community members.
North Richland Hills congratulates Lana Aarnos Jackson, Lisa Martinez, Jessica Copeland Bell and Lori Newbold, who are the poets featured in the NRH Poetry Trail at Linda Spurlock Park.
